Ceremony and Reception at Talon Winery
We are so excited at Jeanie Gorrell Floral Design because this wedding is featured on Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book.
Despite its ordinary past, burlap is one of the hottest trends in weddings. It reminds us of old rustic sacks of grains, coffee beans, rice or cocoa. It offers texture and suggests reuse and repurpose. Lindsay’s wedding was a mix of rustic elements like mason jars, a vintage bird cage (available for rental), burlap runners, burlap ribbon and a sliced wooden cake stand. Here are some beautiful images provided by Cat Satre.
Lindsay’s bouquet was a beautiful mix of white freesia, light peach spray roses, white dahlias, green lisianthus, lime hypericum berries, queen anne’s lace, scabiosa pods, bupleureum, and dusty miller.
Lindsay (the wedding planner) and I swaged white sheer fabric and burlap across the gazebo. We also tied bouquets of flowers with burlap on each side. Flowers included Bells of Ireland, football mums, queen anne’s lace, peach limonium and greens. Shepherd hooks (available for rental) lined the aisle.
Love the cake stand!
Relaxed, casual, fun and a beautiful wedding!!!
